Adaptation to Learning through Digital Platforms (Tools and Techniques) from 11th June to 13th June at 10am to 11am

Three days Webbased FFDP was organized by the Centre for Teacher Education on 11TH JUNE-13TH JUNE 2020 at 10am to 11:30 am. The Objectives of the Faculty Development Program were:-

  • To Equip the Faculty with Various Tools and Techniques of Online and Digital Learning.
  • To Develop an Understanding about OER(Open Educational Resources)
  • To Provide Hands-on –Training related to Using LMS like-Edmodo, Google Classroom and ZilLearn etc.
  • To Develop an Understanding about Online Evaluation and Assessment Tools

The Resource Person for conducting the FDP were:- Dr. R.C.Sharma, Professor, School of Global Affairs, Dr.B.R Ambedkar University New Delhi Parveen Kumar, Assistant Professor, Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed) University, Mullana, Amabala (Haryana- INDIA)

Day1 (Resource Person , Dr.R.C.Sharma).-11/06/2020- On day Prof Sharma discussed about Open Educational Resources. He talked about various platforms related to Open Programs and Open Educational Resources available in the form of Text, Videos, Audios, and Images etc which can be useful to prepare lectures by the Faculty.

Day 2 (Resource Person, Dr. Praveen Kumar Sharma)- 12/06/ 2020- On second day, Dr Praveen Discussed about Various Learning Management System. He explained in detail about using Edmodo LMS. Including Creating Polls, Online Assessment in the form of test and Assignment and interacting with student’s through Classroom and Zil Learn. The Session was highly interactive. He could handle the queries on Zoom and YouTube both very easily.

Day3-(Resource Person, Dr. Praveen Kumar Sharma)- 13/06/ 2020- The session on thrird days of FDP was very informative and interactive. The participants got to learn about various softwares related to creation of Animated Films, Recording Audio, Video, Exploring Creative Common Licenced images etc. Mr.Sharma also talked about Screencast omatic, Freecam, Screencastify, Active Presenter and many more. The session was extremely useful for the participants.

Director General Col.A.S.Malhotra closed the session talking about his experience during FDP. Total 712 Participants registered for the FDP all over India, out of Which 570 Submitted their Assignments. The E-Certificates were send to the participants electronically through mail. The Certificates were given to only those participants who had submitted Daily Feedback and Assignment on all three days
