6th Inter School Debate Competition Vichaar-Vistaar (2018) was organized at Institute of Professional Excellence and Management (IPEM) on 11th September 2018. Seventy teams from various schools of the NCR region participated in the debate on topics “Does the Ban on Plastic Bags will Help in Controlling Environmental Pollution?” or “Does the Present Examination System Measure the Memory of the students or their Learning?” One participant from each team argued in favour of the motion and the other argued against it. The event began with lighting the lamp and introduction of the Judges. The Judges Dr. Archana Chaudhary, Principal, Wisdom International School, Duhai (Gzb), Ms. Shantwana Shukla, PGT English, Ryan International School, NH-24 (Gzb), Ms. Niti Garg, Lecturer, Gurukul The School, NH-24 (Gzb), Ms. Vanita Barde, TGT Hindi, St. Thomas School, Indirapuram (Gzb) were felicitated by Mr. Anupam Goel, Secretary IPEM, Prof (Dr.) Sugandha Goel, Dean Academics, IPEM, Dr. (Col) A.S.Malhotra, Director General IPEM and Dr. Nishi Sharma, Principal CTE Department and Dr. Shweta Tyagi, Co-ordinator of the event. The competition was worth-enjoying for the audience. Every debator was cheered and clapped up for their pleasing presentation and sharp arguments.The competition revealed many aspects of the ban on plastics in controlling environmental pollution and also the present examination system. Bindu of Government Girls Inter College, Vijay Nagar (Gzb) won the Ist Prize, Cash Reward of Rs 11000/-, Sapna Nagar of Vidya Jyoti Public School, Dadri (Gzb) was the First Runner Up and was rewarded Cash Prize of Rs 7500/- and Divyansha Tiwari of Sun Valley International School (Gzb) was the Second Runner Up and was rewarded Cash Prize of Rs 5000/-. KDB Public School bagged the Trophy for the Best School Team. All the participants were given refreshments and certificates. At the end of the function, Dr. Nishi Sharma thanked all for participating and making it a successful event.
