National Moot Court Competition on 31st January, 1st February 2020

Dear Sir/Madam,
             It is a matter of immense pleasure to inform you that IPEM Law Academy is going to organize Dr. B.S. GOEL MEMORIAL NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION from 31st January-1st February 2020 at the premises of the IPEM Law Academy, Ghaziabad.

We cordially invite your esteemed institution to participate in the above event by sending a team of three students (Two Speakers and one Researcher).

The objective of this Moot Court competition is to give exposure to the students pursuing B.A., LL.B. /LL.B. programme to environment of Court Room system in India and to explore their advocacy skills, presenting argument and contributing to the development of law in the area of Moot Court Problem..

The Moot Problem, Registration Form, and the detailed Rules & Regulations for the Moot Court Competition are attached herewith. Registration form should reach us either by speed post or courier on or before 16th December along with Registration fee of Rupees 1500/- through a demand Draft draw in favour of IPEM Law Academy payable at Ghaziabad.

The soft copy may also be send through email to moot2019@ipemgzb.ac.in on or before 10th January, 2020

Six spiral bound copies of the Memorials and Counter Memorials be submitted on or before 15th January, 2020 at IPEM Law Academy.

All Team are requested to report the venue of the competition, i.e IPEM law Academy at 9.00 AM on 31st January, 2019.

The following Awards shall be given in the Competition:-

  • Best Team: The Winning Team of the Final Round of the Competition will get a Certificate, Trophy and a Cash Prize of Rs. 11000/-.
  • Runner Up- The Runner Up Team of the Final Round of the Competition will get a Certificate, Trophy and a Cash Prize of Rs. 7000/-.
  • Best Speaker- Best Speaker Award shall be determined on the basis of the total marks secured during the Court Rounds. The Speaker will get a Certificate, Trophy and Cash Prize of Rs. 4000/-.
  • Best Memorial: The team having the highest average Memorial Score from both sides shall be given the Certificate, Memento and Cash Prize of Rs. 2500/-.
  • Best Researcher- There shall be a Researcher test in the IPEM Law Academy and the Best Researcher will get Certificate, Memento and Cash Prize of Rs. 2500/-.
  • The Researcher Test will be conducted on 31st January 2020 from 11.00 A.M.
  • Certificate of Participation shall be given to all the Participating Teams.
