Workshop on “Intellectual Property Right”
A workshop on “Intellectual Property Right” was organized by IPEM on January 30, 2021. The speaker for the session was an erudite expert, Ms. Pooja Kumar, Registered Patent Agent (Govt. Of India), Founder and Director of Innove Intellects LLP. The objective of this workshop was to give knowledge about various laws that protect owners of IP, mostly in the form of patents, copyrights, and trademarks. She explained very lucidly the concept of Intellectual Property Rights. She highlighted the legal rights that provide creators protection for original work, invention, artistic work, scientific development and so on Ms. Pooja Kumar during her deliberation shared that IPR have to be renewed from time to time for keeping them enforced except in case of copyright and trade secrets. This workshop was highly informative. In short the workshop provided valuable awareness and Insight on the various aspects of IPR.

I'm grateful for the exposure that IPEM has given me. The numerous opportunities enabled my growth and development. The conferences and workshops conducted by the institute provided the students with deep and rich understanding of various topics. My mentors have not only motivated me for studies but have also encouraged me to devote my time to extra-curricular activities for my all around development. Especially my class teacher has a huge impact on my career; she has always stood beside me like a pillar and has given wings to every dream of mine.
