National Seminar on “Work Life Balance: Challenges & Measures” on 30th March 2019 (Saturday)

IPEM, Ghaziabad organized a National Seminar on “Work Life Balance: Challenges & Measures” on 30th March 2019 (Saturday). The programme started with the Lamp Lighting Ceremony by all Dignitaries Mr. Anupam Goel (Secretary), Director General (Dr.) A.S.Malhotra, Dean Academics (Dr.) Sugandha Goel, HOD Management (Dr.) Dolly Phillips and Chief Guest as well as Eminent Speakers Mr. Anil Khaitan (Chairman, SNK Corp. & President PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry), Mr. Vinay Gupta, (Executive Director, Ghaziabad Management Association), Mr. D.L.N.Shastri, (Director, Corporate Affairs, Sharda University), Dr. Pramod Kumar, (Vice President, Tech Mahindra, Noida), Mr. Virendra Nath Grover,( Founder Secretary, ISPAT Bharti Foundation).of the Seminar.

The Dignitaries of the Inaugural Session stressed on the importance of maintaining a balance between personal and the professional life.. Work Life Balance fosters communication, reduces staff turnover and improves the morale of the employees. As a result, the business will perform better, reacting to market conditions more effectively as happy employees are more likely to work more flexibly. Various ways for reducing the stress at work place were also discussed

The Seminar was divided into two Technical Sessions. Both the Technical Sessions were chaired by Dr. Bipin Rai ,( Associate Professor, ABES IT) & Mr. Rohit Bhatia, (Principal Facilitator, ProfHR Consulting).

Technical Session I & II were specially scheduled for the Research paper presenters. In these two Sessions more than 30 Research papers were presented by the delegates and more than 100 delegates from academia, corporate and students attended the Seminar.

Technical Session I & II were followed by the Valedictory session, addressed by Dr. Bipin Rai and Mr. Rohit Bhatia.

After this report of each session was presented by the Rappoteurs and certificates were distributed to the participants.

We are thankful to all the dignitaries & eminent speaker who despite of their schedule provided us with their knowledge & experiences. Their views and appreciation will encourage all of us to do better in Future.
